The Ackers Residential Centre (ARC) is a self catering accommodation that sleeps up to 26 people. Located only 2 miles from Birmingham City Centre and set in 75 acres of semi-rural land, the building is self contained and perfect for anything from a one night to 7 nights+ stay. The ARC is the perfect place to hold a family get together, stag and hen parties, school residential trip or corporate away day.

Activity Breaks
Have an outdoor activity trip for your school or youth group without the additional travel costs.
Come and stay in our purpose built residential centre within our 70 acre site and participate in our exciting outdoor activities.
You will have sole use of the building and facilities within it while you stay. The building sleeps up to 26 in 5 twin rooms and 4 double twin rooms, all of the beds are bunk beds. There are separate male and female toilets and showers. Upstairs there is a large room suitable for eating and other indoor activities, a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and toilets. Downstairs are the showers along with a recreation room with comfy chairs, sofa, TV and DVD player. There is also a table tennis table and a games cupboard with a wide range of videos and DVDs. Outside there is a patio seating area and a brick BBQ. There is also ample free parking around the building.
Many school/youth groups participate in activities while they are staying. Costs are based on groups of up to 10, per activity; this is for an hour and a half session with an instructor and includes all equipment. These activities include Skiing, Climbing, Archery, Canoeing, Tower Fan Descender, Zip Wire and many others
Bedding provided is a blanket and pillow with pillowcase. We would recommend that groups bring sleeping bags with them. Sheets are available to hire at a price of £30 for the whole group for the duration of the stay. A tea towel is also provided.
A Residential Trip away from home and school can provide pupils with a wide range of new experiences and skills that would not be possible to achieve in the classroom. Our staff aim to provide the best possible instruction and care so that every individual feels comfortable and has an enjoyable experience.
